Named for the clay pot. Built for Kochi.
Our story
QumQum takes its name from the traditional Arabian clay pot — the qum qum — used to slow-cook rice and meat until every grain carries the smoke, spice, and patience of the desert kitchen.

On Infopark Express Way in Kakkanad, we serve the Arabian flavours Kochi already loves — mandi, alfaham, shawaya, and charcoal-grilled meats — in warm, Arabic-style interiors with majlis seating and the easy comfort of a neighbourhood restaurant.
Our kitchen draws on Arabian recipes refined across Doha and Dubai, built on a simple belief: great mandi needs no excess oil or spice — only the natural richness of the meat and the aroma of the embers.
Our signature Chicken Madhouth — a fragrant pressure-cooked rice dish layered with Arabic masala, basmati rice, and tender chicken — has become a favourite beyond classic mandi. Alongside it you'll find Velvet Cream Alfaham, Charcoal Shawaya Mandi, Beef Rib BBQ, Mozzarella Kunafa, and our house QumQum BBQ platter.
